For some time I have marveled at the Oval by Pia Welsch and would like to try it sometimes. This last week I then tried with a Resteblöckchen. The block of 16.5 x16, 5cm was separated and the basis for the ovals. It was added in the blue fabric and once it was cut crosswise and sewn together again. Then, the ovals from the green background fabric cut out and used a narrow Nähzugabe. It went pretty smoothly, and 6 blocks were the small spring-like runners. On occasion I will sew the next blocks with ovals.
